About Kamiylah Faatin

Born in a small town called Milledgeville, Georgia, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kamiylah Faatin is a R&B artist signed to BTB Records. Kamiylah lived with four other siblings and was raised by her mother and father.

Being a part of a large family was always fun for her, but for the most part, Kamiylah stayed to herself growing up. She loved to sing at a very young age but was afraid to share her gift with others. Kamiylah participated in the school choir during elementary and she started playing sports such as basketball, track, and volleyball in middle school. By the end of highschool, she was offered a scholarship to play basketball in college.

After basketball came to an end, Kamiylah decided to step outside of her comfort zone and began to share her musical talents. She started to post cover videos on social media and this led to her gaining supporters of her talent. After being approached by members of BTB Records, Kamiylah Faatin decided to take her career to the next level by signing with the independent record label that consists of Khari, B.A.N.K.$., and RebeL.

Kamiylah Faatin’s influences range from legends such as Lauryn Hill, Musiq Soulchild and Stevie Wonder and modern artists such as Jhenè Aiko, Summer Walker, and Bryson Tiller. Kamiylah Faatin released her first single. “The Sequel”, on January 4, 2021.
